Wollombi is a small, picturesque and historic village that has always been an essential base for travellers along the
Great North Road and today retains its fine architectural heritage bolstered by cafes, wineries and comfortable
guesthouses. To the south is the village of Laguna, to the east, the town of Millfield, and to the north you will find
the Broke-Fordwich region.

The Wollombi Wine Trail is made up of five boutique wineries offering visitors a unique wine tasting experience. It
passes through beautiful countryside at the southern gateway to Hunter Valley Wine Country following part of the
Great North Road, which convicts built in the early 19th century.
